"Maya's musical ideas were fresh and filled with expression. Her abilities as a musician were only outmatched by her skill at taking the listener on a journey with her as she performed for us. Just a fantastic evening of the Guitar!"
- James Horan, Great Lakes Guitar Society
"Maya Lončar was a fabulous Classical Guitarist in the Hoag Library Music Series. From the very first note, the audience went silent. She had a very deep artistic control of her instrument, and performed at the highest level. She connected with the people, in this community, who took time, out of their lives to see her perform. She deserves, a second date. Just wow….."
- Jim Doyle, Hoag Music Series
"Maya Loncar's performance as a headliner for the 2023 Appalachian State GuitarFest Festival was one of the best in recent years.  The audience was captivated by her virtuosic technique, sensitive musicianship and thoughtful musical selections."
- Dr. Adam Kossler, Appalachian State University
""Dr. Maya Loncar is at the forefront of a new breed of classical guitar virtuosi, possessing a refined and powerful technique, a state-of-the-art knowledge of performance practices from all style periods, the ability to communicate, motivate, and inspire, the precision of intellectual curiosity, the confidence of physical strength, the capacity for fiery sensitivity, and musical leadership acumen to build audiences and programs on behalf of the art and our profession."
- Dr. Nicholas Goluses, Eastman School of Music
